Styx Security was initially set up to provide adversarial security assessments and security awareness training. After creating the Covert Entry Play Centre and Miscreant Creche (a joke name that stuck), the repeated enquiries made it obvious there was a huge gap in the UK market for covert entry training and education aimed at various markets.

We had a few PACS simulators with various attacks, a door for people to try latch slipping and under door tools on, combination locks for people to decode and so on.

As a result of the feedback and excellent reception at the conference, we’re offering the following:

  • Training to estates and maintenance teams, educating on the tactics of physical pen testers and, by extension, criminals.
  • The Miscreant Creche, which is aimed at people who have bought Flipper Zeros, Proxmarks and other such toys but don’t have anything to legally use them on. It’s a fun evening for hacker types, not training in breaking and entering! Now available to hire for estates / security installers / infosec teams training. Makes an ideal team building exercise for infosec teams.
  • Covert method of entry training (CMoE) – we’re working on building this in partnership with other companies; expect updates over the coming months.
